Inna lilayhiw wa inna lilahi Rajihoon - Allah grant forgiveness Jannah and elevate us all. Allah reward both your efforts for to ummah. Behind every great man there is a great woman.
Masha Allah what a beautiful tribute!. Tears falling gently to be remembered so lovingly and for her loveliness. What a beautiful, simple and appropriate Dua' to be a gardener. I pray to meet her one day in jannah. May Allah bless you Br Jalal and surround with kind and caring supporters. We look forward to having you back bringing us Muslim Thinkers.
Ameen. The wish you end with reminds us of Sahih al-Bukhari 2348:
Once the Prophet (ﷺ) was narrating (a story), while a bedouin was sitting with him. "One of the inhabitants of Paradise will ask Allah to allow him to cultivate the land. Allah will ask him, 'Are you not living in the pleasures you like?' He will say, 'Yes, but I like to cultivate the land.' " The Prophet (ﷺ) added, "When the man (will be permitted he) will sow the seeds and the plants will grow up and get ripe, ready for reaping and so on till it will be as huge as mountains within a wink. Allah will then say to him, 'O son of Adam! Take here you are, gather (the yield); nothing satisfies you.' " On that, the bedouin said, "The man must be either from Quraish (i.e. an emigrant) or an Ansari, for they are farmers, whereas we are not farmers." The Prophet (ﷺ) smiled (at this).
And for this life, Sahih al-Bukhari 2320:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "There is none amongst the Muslims who plants a tree or sows seeds, and then a bird, or a person or an animal eats from it, but is regarded as a charitable gift for him."
I am sorry to hear about the passing of your wife. May Allah grant her the highest place in al-Firdous and may you all be reunited with her in the hereafter.
Do tend to the garden she has left behind so that every bird that benefits from its fragrance may sing the praise to our Lord and be sadaqa jariyah for her. Ameen
May Allah forgive all our sister’s past sins (major/minor) and give the family immense sabr-e-jameel. May he also reunite all of your family in Janat-al-fridous, ameen.
I didn’t know about sister Farhat until she passed away. I didn’t know what you were going through with your personal life while listening to all the interviews that you were working for the ummah. May Allah bless you both for the resilience you have showed and are showing for the greater good of others despite your personal situations. The sacrifices and the selflessness is admirable and inspirational. Sister Farhat’s legacy reflects her silent sincerity in her work . May Allah accept it from her and grant her jannatul firdous. Aameen. May Allah bless you and your family with strength and ease. Aameen.
May you and your wife be united forever in Paradise. A life and love like this is not of this realm. You all are in my prayers, truly. To see the way you and she spoke to each other in that video it is a teaching moment for all the young people, for my children, for all those I will teach inshallah. It brought tears to my eyes. May you continue to do extraordinary work in the world as a thinking and feeling Muslim!!! Jazakallah khairun.
May Allah be pleased with her and rewards her and accept her actions and Duas. May the Almighty protect and look over the family and give them sabr and support Ameen
May Allah grant her the highest ranks of paradise. And may her memory serve as a source of comfort for you and everyone she impacted in this world.
Ameen Ya Mujeeb
